The western part of Ons is surrounded by stones, some of them are visible but not all. It´s a dirty coast, examples of this are punta Fedorento, pedra da Loba, laxe da Freitosa, bajo de los Camoucos, laxe dos Robalos or A Laxiña da Galera.

Other well known shipwrecks were the ones of Brilliant (corsarian boat) in 1799, San Juan Bautista (sunk boat because of a storm) in 1893, fishing boat Campos in 1942, Santiago Cerviño in 1959, Europa número 4 in 1961 or El Nuevo Maruja Costa (which had problems with the mist) in 1972.

So the history of Ons is linked to the history of many shipwrecks (remains of ships on the seafloors)  increasing the value of its rich underwater heritage, contributing to create a unique achaeological register under its waters. A historical heritage that could increase the resources of the National Park.
