It is here that the Franco-Belgian war graves and monument are situated, where it's worth noting that 25 French soldiers are buried. In this tomb, Belgian and French soldiers lie together. It was impossible to distinguish them when they wanted to repatriate the French.

Sub-lieutenant Claude Leduc of the Second Infantry Regiment, who died in the Red Cross first-aid post at Vitrival on 23rd August 1914 following his combat injuries, aged 22 years, rests here.
