The Razo- Baldaio area is present in contemporary literature of the Costa da Morte and Galicia. As in the poem from the young writer from Carballo Rosalía Fernández   Rial, who in her work "Un mar de sensacións"   includes this reference to the legend of the city of Galilee, submerged off the coast of Baldaio.

"Razo sings its hallucinogenic love
so that the dancers of tumbles
can narrate, with their volatile boards

of the miracle of dance on the waters
over the submerged Galilea. "

Or in this excerpt from the novel "En salvaxe compaña," by Manuel Rivas, a writer from Coruña who has settled in Vimianzo..

"The procession passed by the Pedra da Arca, with a grouping in the Brittany style, and from there, against the Nordés, it burst out onto the sands of Bergantiños. Razo, Barrañán, Baldaio, my lord! "

In addition there are several cultural groups in Carballo who have taken on the recovery, dissemination and preservation of oral cultural tradition. The maneo is an musical piece interpreted so that it can be danced to and which belongs to the area of Bergantiños. It is a variant of the "jota" played exclusively with tambourines with two distinct parts: one paused with "sweeps" corresponding to the verses, and the choruses, which are faster with consecutive strokes.

The Cultural Association "Arume" of Berdillo is one of these groups. You can listen to its interpretation of a maneo of the area, the Maneo of Cambre.
