From the point where you are standing, if the tide is out, you can walk along the rocks in front of you to the tip of the so-called Pedra do Teirón, where you will surely find some fishermen and children bathing in small naturally-formed pools.

Now look to the left. That archipelago you see are the Sisargas islands, which belong to the neighbouring municipality of Malpica. They are one of the points marked on the shipwreck map that gave name to the Costa da Morte, for which Carballo has the honour of being its gateway.

The Costa da Morte is a legend, is history, is life. At this point its waters hide underwater cities and shipwrecks. Look closely and see if bottle-nose dolphins accompany you in the search of these legendary stories.
