The Ponte do Porto Fair runs on the second and last Sunday of every month.

Ponte do Porto is Camariñas' second most important urban area. The fair is located by the Grande river, on the road leading to the capital town, a strategic location that since ancient times has proved advantageous for local produce and livestock businesses.

In addition to the popular stalls selling food, clothing and footwear, there was a fortnightly meeting of farmers, ranchers, knife sharpeners, clog makers and many other traditional trades.

In fact, its origins are possibly related to a per loca maritima Roman road, a crossing point for goods between coast and hinterland, that also provided ships with shelter against bad weather and invaders.
