The best photographs of the northern Atlantic coast can be taken at this viewpoint at Campo da Costa. With only a visual impact, you become a witness to the beauty of the bay and the peninsula on which the town of Caión stands.

By following your gaze along the coast, to the right, you will see the small fishing village, the first of the Costa da Morte and the only exit to the sea of A Laracha.

From here you can appreciate the beauty of its beach, ideal for surfing and other water sports. It is a busy stretch of sand, where the blue flag usually flies as a certificate of quality.

Breathe in and breathe deep, you will feel how the sea invites you to come down.

Look further east to find the shrine of Os Milagres, where every 8th September a Romeria is held which is declared of Tourist Interest in Galicia.

Just 5 minutes drive away is Caión, an old whaling town that will offer you everything you need to enjoy your break.

The Fishing Archive museum, historic buildings in Vila Eduardo Fano square, the fishing port and its maritime promenade will be the guides of this wonderful journey.

If you fancy a snack and like to enjoy good food, local restaurants are the ideal place to get it!
