A Ribeira is Finisterre’s urban beach, and it is therefore very busy. It is a stretch of white sand with calm waters, ideal for children.

This 246-foot long beach, awarded a Blue Flag for the first time in 2013, is protected by the Port of Finisterre’s breakwaters. It has easy access and numerous facilities nearby.

Is located very close to the town’s port, at the foot of the San Carlos Bastion, home to the Museum of the Sea.

The beach was used as a pier until the current one was built. The town of Finisterre sprang up around A Ribeira beach. In front of it there is a house with an arched entrance, similar to a defensive tower and one of the few vestiges from the original village.
